Sliding doors come to Wapping Waitrose
There is a planning application to install automatic sliding doors at Waitrose at Thomas More Square to reduce drafts. This is possibly the most dull thing I've written on the blog.
However, the planning application has a plan of the ground floor of the store, so if you ever wondered what was behind certain doors, you can now find out. So, at least you can learn where the dairy store is...
UPDATE
Via the medium of twitter, I now discover that the café is closing in July with the bread and rotisserie moving into (at least part of) that space, with a self service drinks machine. Some tables and chairs should remain. Thanks to Zoe, for Pootling into the café to get the gossip.
Earth-shattering!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm still quivering.
DeleteSliding doors wasn't that a film?
