Hollywood comes to Wapping: Bridget Jones

To complement my posts on music videos filmed in Wapping, I thought I'd start gathering up some of the various films and TV programmes filmed in the area. For my inaugural post in this series, a film, in which Wapping and more specifically, the John Orwell gym only stars for a few brief moments.

Little may you know that the John Orwell gym is in fact where Bridget Jones goes in the first film. So crucial is it to character and plot development, it even featured in the trailer (at 23 seconds).
